News: March: R. Richard Hobbs and Mark D. McKennon were recently featured on the New York City Mayor’s Office of Film, Theater and Broadcast (MOFTB) website in an article highlighting film locations and production in New York City and the ongoing Location Scouting Workshop Mark and Richard are teaching at Learning Annex, New York.
Location Scouting Workshop sessions began in January, 2007. The next and last session will be on Tuesday, April 3rd in New York City. Details and registration are available on the Learning Annex, NY Website.
MOFTB is one of the premier film commissions in the U.S. and (by way of the MOFTB Website) New York City is home to the director of this year’s Oscar Winner for Best Director, Martin Scorcese for his work on the winning film for Best Picture, The Departed. The Departed also won the Oscar for Writing for an Adapted Screenplay and Film Editing.
